Lot 1290 Charlie Murray
Silent film actor (1872–1941) who appeared in almost 300 films, he played one of the famous ‘Keystone Cops.’ Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To L. A. Lebeuf, with best wishes, yours, Charlie Murray L.A. 6/1/18.” In very good condition, with scattered soiling, toning and foxing, silvering to darker areas of image, and mounting and adhesive remnants to reverse.
